On Saturday, 29 August, we set off from Rogulje towards the source of the Orljava River. It was hikking activity with local kids.
Before starting our hike, we first studied the map, determined our current position, and planned the route we should follow. The goal of the day was a small waterfall located roughly halfway to the source of the Orljava.
The route is not marked, but it follows an old forest road that runs alongside the Cikotska River. The road has not been used for a long time, and nature has slowly taken it back. In several places, water has washed away parts of the road, which meant that we had to cross the stream several times along the way. These crossings turned out to be one of the most interesting parts of the hike.
It took us about two and a half hours to reach the waterfall. Once there, we took a short break, enjoyed the peaceful forest surroundings, and listened to the sound of the water.
We had also planned to roast some sausages, but the approaching rain forced us to change our plans. The sausages will therefore have to wait until our next visit. This time, we hurried back towards Rogulje so that we would not get caught in the rain.
Along the route, we also noticed several plastic strips left beside the path. Because of this, we have already set ourselves another task for our next hike – we will bring rubbish bags and collect them along the way.
Our next visit will therefore not only be another step in exploring the route towards the source of the Orljava, but also a small contribution to keeping the forest clean.
It was another wonderful day spent in nature, with a map in hand, a little exploration, several stream crossings, and a new place that is definitely worth visiting again

I finally got some free time and took a closer look at what’s been happening on-chain.
For me, DeSo has always been a social platform first, and I sincerely hope @nader will find the wisdom to continue developing that side of it.
If DeSo itself is no longer your main focus because most of your attention is now on Mirror, then talk to the people who are still here — people who still believe in DeSo and are willing to contribute, build, and take on the things you either don’t want to focus on or simply don’t have enough people on the team to handle.
There are still people here who care. Give them a chance to help.

Today we visited the Kutjevo vine cellar, tasted good vibes and heard all about the cellar history (since 1232).
After that we stoped at Vinkomir restaurant and had great lunch.
Returned home tired, but full of impressions!
It was a great day spent with friends!
